ST. PAUL, Minn. — While their male counterparts were busy across town with their mid-week competition at the Macalester Twilight, the Saint Mary's University women's track and field team made some noise of its own Wednesday evening at the Hamline Twilight.
Teri Heinzen (Marshfield, Wis.) led the way for the Cardinals, collecting a first-place finish in the 100, clocking a time 13.04. Sabrina Larson-Bushlack chipped in a third in the high jump (1.45 meters) and a sixth in the javelin (23.66 meters), while
Sara Harstad (Chatfield, Minn.) shared sixth place in the javelin (23.66 meters) and
Kathleen Pawlowski (Chicago, Ill.) and #Jamie Stefely (Lisle, Ill.) posted seventh-place efforts in the 400 (1:03.38) and high jump (1.40 meters), respectively.
