Erickson was a four-year standout goalkeeper for the Saint Mary’s women’s soccer team, helping lead the Cardinals to three MIAC regular-season titles — not to mention three NCAA Division III National Tournament appearances — and a combined 66-15 record. With Erickson between the pipes, SMU lost just two conference games in her four seasons.

A two-time All-MIAC First Team selection, Erickson earned Third-Team All-American accolades following her junior season, while earning All-West Region honors in three of her four years as a Cardinal. She was a First-Team All-West Region pick in 1987 and 1988, and was a Second-Team selection in 1986.

Erickson closed out her four-year career ranking fifth all-time in saves (273), sixths in goals-against-average (0.96) and ninth in save percentage (.812). As a sophomore, Erickson collected 127 saves, eight-most in school history, while compiling the school’s fifth-lowest goals-against-average, a microscopic 0.69, during her senior season.
