Highlights:Dick Kuehl, a member of two Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champions in 1954 and 1957, remains among the top statistical players in Saint Mary’s baseball history, ranking sixth in career slugging percentage (.645) and 12th in career batting average (.365). Kuehl also ranked seventh in the nation in slugging percentage (.825) and 16th in batting average (.460), while playing errorless in the field during his senior season in 1957. Upon graduation, Kuehl signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
