Saint Mary's University of Minnesota Athletics

Mike Lester coached the Saint Mary's volleyball team from 1998-2016 (18 seasons). During that time, he led the program to 12 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoff appearances, claimed the conference's regular-season title in 2000, and spearheaded two memorable NCAA Division III tournament berths — the first in 2000 and again in 2009. Lester capped off his coaching career with an overall record of 357-236, and also served as the assistant athletic director during his time.
