• 1: Sarrianna Hoffer (Wausau, Wis.) picked up her first collegiate dual-match singles win on Sunday, recording a 7-6 (4), 6-1 win at No. 6 singles against St. Thomas last Sunday.
• 3: The Saint Mary’s women’s tennis team played three Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matches in three days last weekend, squaring off against both Hamline (W, 8-1) and St. Olaf (L, 5-4) on the Cardinals’ home courts last Friday and Saturday, before falling to St. Thomas (L, 8-1) on the road on Sunday.
• 6: All six of the singles matches in the Cardinal women’s tennis team’s heartbreaking 5-4 loss to St. Olaf last Saturday were decided in straight sets. Natalie Peterson (St. Cloud, Minn.), Zoie Becker (St. James, Minn.), and Emily Henderson (Jordan, Minn.) recorded SMU’s singles wins — dropping just 15 games between them.
• 6: Emily Henderson (Jordan, Minn.) had her career-high six-match singles winning streak snapped last Sunday against St. Thomas. After opening the season with a loss to Bethel, the sophomore had strung together six consecutive victories — all in straight sets — before Sunday’s loss to the Tommies.
• 7: Zoie Becker (St. James, Minn.) picked up singles wins against both Hamline and St. Olaf last Friday and Saturday to push her season-opening winning streak to a career-high seven straight. The sophomore’s streak was snapped, however, with a straight-set loss to St. Thomas last Sunday.
