Jesse Polk (Hastings, Minn.) earned SMU Athlete of the Week honors for the second straight week, as the SMU senior posted a seven-over-par 223 to finish in a tie for eighth at the three-day, season-ending Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships. Polk opened the tournament with a four-over 76, followed that up with a three-over 75 and finished with an even-par 72 — despite a pair of bogeys and a double bogey over the final four holes. For his efforts, Polk earned All-MIAC honors for the second time in his four-year career.
