Palmer enjoyed a banner week last week, averaging 20 points and 11 rebounds in the Cardinals' three conference games. The freshman forward kicked off the week with 13 points and 11 rebounds against fifth-ranked St. Thomas on Monday, then followed that up with 21 points and 13 boards against St. Olaf two days later. Palmer saved his best for last, however, knocking down 5 3-pointers en route to a career-best 26 points in SMU's 71-55 victory over Concordia on Saturday. Palmer also had nine boards vs. the Cobbers, missing his third straight double-double — and fourth of the season — by one rebound.
