Andrew Brueggen (Holmen, Wis.) continued to dominate the weight throw, winning the event at both Friday’s UW-Whitewater Invitational and Saturday’s UW-Superior Border Battle. Brueggen’s throw of 19.41 meters at the UW-Whitewater Invitational last Friday was not only a school record, but it was also the longest throw ever by an MIAC performer. Brueggen’s throw bettered the old MIAC record of 19.36 set by Concordia's Aaron Banks in 1996.
