Schlemmer hit .433 in the Cardinals' eight games in Arizona. The SMU freshman collected 13 hits in 30 at-bats, with 14 RBIs and a .667 slugging percentage. Schlemmer collected his first collegiate hit in SMU's opener vs. Concordia-Chicago, then betled his first collegiate home run against Presentation on March 10. He also hit for the spring-trip cycle with nine singles, two doubles, one triple and one home run.
