Carter hit .375 in helping the Cardinals to a 7-3 record during their time at the Tucson (Ariz.) Invitational. The SMU sophomore went 12-for-32 with seven runs scored, while also driving in 17 runs and boasting a .781 slugging perctenage. Carter hammered three home runs — including a pair of grand slams — and added four doubles, while scoring four times. Her three hits, five RBIs and seven total bases vs. University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on March 10 were all single-game career highs.
