Wright averaged 21 points in leading the Cardinals to a 1-1 record in their last two contests, an 89-45 loss to NCAA Division I Loyola and a streak-snapping 89-75 victory over St. Olaf on Saturday. Wright netted a team-best 11 points vs. the Ramblers, then knocked down 11 of 17 field goal attempts — including a pair of three-pointers — en route to a career-best 31 points in SMU's win vs. the Oles.

Wright, who has scored 20 more points in six of SMU's 10 games this season, and has netted at least 10 points in the Cardinals' last seven games, leads the team with a 17.0 ppg average heading into Monday's game at Gustavus.
