Ross collected three first-place finishes and added a pair of seconds in the Cardinals' dual meet against Macalester and the Macalester Invitational last weekend.
In SMU's dual vs. Macalester, Ross proved to be the man to beat in both the 200 IM and the 100 backstroke, recording a time of 2:07.78 to win the 200 IM, while adding a time of 57.58 in touching the wall first in the 100 backstroke.
A day later, Ross blew away the field in winning the 200 IM, stopping the clock in 2:07.93, three seconds faster than runner-up Patrick Dooley of St. Thomas. Ross followed that up with seconds in both the 100 and 200 backstroke, recording times of 57.26 and 2:02.23, respectively.
