Thone scored a team-high 19 points in the Cardinals' season-opening loss at Elmhurst on Nov. 22. Thone, the Cardinals' top returning scorer from a year ago, was 7-for-20 from the field — including draining a pair of 3-pointers — and knocked down 3 of 5 free throws.
