Freeman equaled his career high, scoring 23 points in helping guide the SMU men's basketball team its first win of the season, a 62-47 MIAC win over Macalester last Saturday.

The senior, who had also scored 23 points against Concordia earlier this season, knocked down 7 of 12 field goals — including a pair of 3-pointers, and was 7-for-10 from the free throw line against the Scots.
