Edwards picked up a straight-set singles wins, and teamed with her sister McKennah to win at No. 1 doubles, in helping the Cardinals to a 7-2 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference win over Bethel last Friday in SMU's lone match of the week.

Edwards, currently ranked No. 18 in the latest ITA Central Region singles rankings, improved to 6-5 in singles play, while boasting an 8-2 mark — not to mention a No. 9 Central Region ranking — in doubles competition.
