Edholm went 6-for-9 with a pair of RBIs in helping the Cardinals to a nonconference split against Cornell (Iowa) on Saturday. Edholm went 4-for-5 and drove in two runs in leading SMU to an 8-3 victory in the opener, then followed with two more hits in SMU's 7-6 Game 2 loss.

For the season, Edholm his hitting .480, going 12-for-25, with two doubles, a triple, two runs scoring and five RBIs.
