Schlemmer enjoyed a career day in helping the Cardinals' sweep Viterbo last Thursday, as the sophomore went 5-for-8 with five RBIs as SMU beat the V-Hawks 13-7 and 8-3.

Schlemmer opened with his first collegiate four-hit game, going 4-for-5 — including two home runs, the second a seventh-inning grand slam in the top of the seventh that gave the Cardinals the lead for good. Schlemmer followed up that up with a 1-for-3 effort in SMU's 8-3 Game 2 win.
