Krysiak appeared in three of the Cardinals' four games last week, throwing 2.2 inings of hitless, scoreless relief as SMU locked up its first MIAC Tournament berth since the 2002 season.

The hard-throwing freshman picked up save No. 5 in SMU's 6-5, Game 2 win over Hamline last Wednesday, then followed that up with a perfect 1-2-3 seventh in sealing SMU's 3-2 win over Carleton on Monday. Krysiak's sixth save tied the single-season school record, originally set by Eric Van Brocklin in 1993.
