Swiggum averaged 15.7 ppg and 8.7 rpg in the Cardinals’ three games last week. The freshman opened the week with 10 points against Saint John’s last Monday, followed that up with a career-best 13 rebounds in recording a double-double of 13 points and 13 boards against St. Olaf on Wednesday, and ended the week with a career-high 24 points and nine rebounds against Augsburg on Saturday.
Swiggum, whose 24-point effort against the Auggies marked the first time he has eclipsed the 20-point barrier, has now scored 10 or more points in four straight games and eight times this season.
