Burfeind capped a stellar week by becoming the SMU men's basketball program's 25th member of the 1,000 Point Club. Burfeind, who averaged 14.0 ppg in SMU's three games last week, sank a pair of free throws with 2:20 left in the first half to reach the 1,000 career point mark. The senior forward finished with a game-high 24 points against the Cobbers.
