Carter was unstoppable for the SMU fastpitch softball team in their 10-0, 10-6 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference sweep of Bethel last Tuesday. The senior outfielder hit .750 — going 3-for-4 with a pair of walks, while scoring five times and driving in a pair of runs.
For the season, Carter is hitting .458, going 22-for-48 with a team-best 23 runs scored. She has also accounted for one of the team’s four home runs, while driving in 10 runs, walking four times and owning a .604 slugging percentage and a .581 on-base percentage.
