Swiggum averaged 15 points and 9.5 rebounds in the Cardinals' two games at the Pacific Lutheran Thanksgiving Classic last weekend. Swiggum — an MIAC All-First-Year Team selection a year ago — netted 15 points and added 10 rebounds in SMU's tournament-opening loss to host Pacific Lutheran last Friday, and then tallied 15 points and nine boards in the Cardinals' loss to Puget Sound a day later.

Swiggum's double-double against Pacific Lutheran was his first of the season and fourth of his career, while his back-to-back 15 points marked the 16th and 17th time in his career that the sophomore has scored in double figures.

Swiggum has led the team in scoring in each of their first four games, and heads into Wednesday's MIAC-opener against Bethel averaging 15.0 ppg.
