It was Jorgensen to the rescue — again — for the SMU women's tennis team last Saturday.
Jorgensen locked up the Cardinals' 5-4 MIAC win over Bethel, posting a come-from-behind, three-set, 3-6, 6-3, 10-4 win at No. 6 singles to break a 4-4 deadlock and seal the Cardinal win.
It was the second time this season that Jorgensen — who shares the team lead in singles wins with 10 — has collected the decisive victory in a 5-4 Cardinal win. She also posted a three-set triumph in SMU's 5-4 win over Hamline on March 15.
