Gruse scored four goals and added an assist in the Cardinal men's hockey team's sweep of Bethel last weekend.

After assisting on one of the Cardinals' five goals in a 5-2 win over Bethel on Friday, Gruse erupted for four goals in Saint Mary's sweep-clinching 5-2 win on Saturday.

Gruse, who leads the MIAC in both goals (14) and points (24), has now scored three goals or more in two of the team's last four games and has recorded 14 points (9 goals, 5 assists) in his last six contests.
