Schlemmer hit a team-leading .583 in the Cardinal baseball team’s four games last week, going 7-for-12 with five runs scored in helping Saint Mary’s to a sweep of Luther and a split against Gustavus.
 
The senior opened the week in impressive fashion, going 6-for-6 with two doubles, two home runs, five runs scored and six RBIs in the Cardinals’ 6-3, 13-11 nonconference sweep of Luther last Wednesday, before adding his third double of the week aginast Gustavus three days later.
