Fadness played a key role in the Cardinal volleyball team's 4-1 start to the season, collecting a team-high 65 kills in five matches, while also hitting an impressive .371.

After opening the season with 13 kills in the Cardinals' 3-1 season-opening win over UW-Eau Claire last Tuedsay, Fadness collected a team-high 52 kills and hit .356 in guiding Saint Mary's to a 3-1 showing at the Ground Round Sugar Loaf Classic—earning all-tournament honors in the process.
