Mate kicked off a stellar week with a season- and career-high 25 kills in the Cardinals' 3-2 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference loss to St. Olaf last Wednesday. The sophomore outside hitter picked up right where she left off over the weekend, hammering out a team-leading 58 kills (3.41 kills-per-set), while hitting .256 in helping the Cardinals to a perfect 4-0 finish at the UW-River Falls Invitational. Mate earned all-tournament honors for her efforts.
