Gruse had a busy weekend for the Cardinal men's hockey team, scoring a pair of goals and adding five assists in Saint Mary's 10-2 and 9-1 victories over Bethel.

Gruse had a goal and three assists in Friday's 10-2 win, then added a goal and two assists in Saturday's 9-1 victory. Gruse's four-point game Friday was the third time in his collegiate career the junior has recorded four points in a game.

Gruse is the team's leader in assists (8) and points (11) this season.
