Gruse picked up three points in the Cardinal men's hockey team's MIAC split against league-leading St. Thomas last weekend.

The junior forward collected a pair of goals in the Cardinals' streak-snapping 4-3 win over St. Thomas, while adding an assist on one of the team's two goals in their 6-2 loss a day later.

Gruse, who has now recorded two multiple-goal games this season—and six in his collegiate career—leads the team in both assists (15) and points (24), and is second in goals (9).
