Seegers has enjoyed a banner start to the 2016 season, helping lead the Cardinals to a 7-1 start.

In Saint Mary's first eight games of their spring trip, Seegers hit a team-leading .438, collecting 14 hits in 32 at-bats, while scoring nine runs and driving in six runs.

Seegers, who boasts a .500 slugging percentage and a .513 on-base percentage, delivered his biggest hit in the Cardinals' 4-3 win over Franklin last Sunday, lacing a walk-off single to right with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning.
