Doll was a one-man wreck-crew for the Cardinal baseball team last week, hitting an eye-popping .733—11-for-15—with a double, two triples, a pair of home runs, five RBIs, 10 runs scored and a perfect 6-for-6 effort in the stolen base department.
Doll went 4-for-5 in a heartbreaking nine-inning Game 1 loss to Augsburg last Thursday, before drilling a pair of home runs—includinga two-run, walk-off bomb in the bottom of the seventh—to lift the Cardinals to a 7-5 win in the nightcap.
Two days later, Doll put together his second four-hit game of the week, going 4-for-4—with two singles, a double, and a triple—in the opening game of Saint Mary's doubleheader sweep of Macalester. Doll added another hit in three at-bats in the nightcap.
