Huisman was a key contributor to the Cardinal women’s basketball team’s perfect 2-0 start to the conference season, as the junior averaged 10.0 ppg and added 10 rebounds (5.0 rpg), three assists, two blocks, and two steals.
Huisman came up big when the Cardinals needed her most last Saturday, scoring a game- and career-high 20 points—including 13 of Saint Mary’s 17 fourth-quarter points in a 60-56 victory over Concordia.
For the season, Huisman is averaging 7.6 ppg and has also chipped in 36 rebounds (5.1 rpg), seven assists, three blocks and nine steals.
