Gannon enjoyed a career week for the Cardinals last week, hitting .517 in leading SMU to a 5-3 record in their four conference doubleheaders. The SMU freshman collected 15 hits in 29 at-bats — including a 3-for-3 Game 2 effort vs. Hamline, followed by a 6-for-8 showing with five runs and three RBIs in SMU's sweep of Augsburg and a  4-for-4 Game 2 outing against St. Catherine. Among her 15 hits last week were a double and two home runs, while she also drove in six runs and boasted a .759 slugging percentage.
