Green was virtually untouchable in his first two collegiate starts for the Cardinals during the Cardinals' 10-game spring trip to Auburndale, Fla., last week.
Green made his collegiate debut last Monday against Milwaukee School of Engineering, throwing seven innings of shutout ball in a no-decision. He did not walk a batter and struck out five in a game Saint Mary's won 2-0 in 10 innings.

The hard-throwing freshman was back on the mound last Saturday, posting his second straight seven-inning effort—again in a no-decision, as Saint Mary's dropped a 3-2, eight-inning decision to Mount Union. Green allowed solo runs in the second and seventh innings against the Raiders—both unearned—and struck out eight, without walking a batter for the second consecutive start.
