Braun amassed a whopping 175 assists in leading the Saint Mary's volleyball team to a perfect 4-0 run through the Ground Round Sugar Loaf Classic last weekend.
Braun kicked off the season with a 32-assist effort against Dominican and added 31 helpers in SMU's second match of the day Friday against Augustana. During the second day of the tournament, Braun posted 49 assists in a 3-2 win over Edgewood, and adding a career-high 63 assists in Saint Mary's second 3-2 win of the day, this one over Luther.
The 63 assists were not only a career high, but also the second-best single-match showing in program history, just two shy of just two shy of record-holder Brittany Cherwinka—who, ironically, is Luther’s current head coach.

Along with her 175 assists, Braun also delivered nine kills, four aces, 32 digs and three blocks.
