Braun had a busy week for the Cardinal volleyball team — highlighted by a single-match program-record 68 assists in leading Saint Mary’s to a 3-2 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over Hamline last Friday.

Braun, who accounted for 68 of the team’s 70 assists against the Pipers — closed out the week with 133 assists, adding 38 helpers against UW-La Crosse last Wednesday and 27 against St. Thomas on Saturday to her record-setting performance against Hamline. Braun also delivered 33 digs and four kills last week.

With her 133 assists last week, Braun — who has recorded 60 or more assists twice this season and owns a team-high 12 double-doubles — has now amassed a single-season career-high 947 assists, while also sharing the team lead with 22 aces.
