Wallis enjoyed a banner season-opening weekend, helping the Cardinal volleuyball team to a 2-2 showing at the Ground Round Sugar Loaf Classic.
 
Wallis recorded a team-leading 50 kills, while adding two assists, six service aces and 62 digs.
 
The junior kicked off the two-day tournament with her first collegiate double-double, a 17-kill, 17-dig effort against UW-Superior, before adding nine kills and 14 digs later in the day against the University of Dubuque. The following day, Wallie racked up double-doubles No. 2 and No. 3 with 14 kills and 19 digs against UW-River Falls and 10 kills and 12 digs against Luther.
 
Wallis 17-kill performance against UW-Superior and 19-dig showing against UW-River Falls were both career-highs.
