Matthews had a hand in both goals in the Cardinal women’s soccer team’s 2-0 win over UW-Stout last Wednesday.
 
The Cardinals’ leading scorer, Matthews set up Kassie Arriaga’s (Chula Vista, Calif.) goal in the 48th minute — breaking a 0-0 tie — then netted her team-leading seventh of the season, an unassisted tally in the 68th minute.
 
On the season, Matthews has now scored in five of the Cardinals’ eight games en route to her team-leading seven goals, while also leading the squad in assists (3) and points (17).
