Balsiger has been a goal-scoring machine for the Cardinal men’s soccer team, accounting for two of the team’s three goals last week.
 
The senior midfielder netted the Cardinals’ lone goal in last Wednesday’s 4-1 loss at Carleton, before netting what proved to be the game-winner in Saint Mary’s 2-1 MIAC victory over Concordia three days later.
 
With his two goals, Balsiger pushed his team-leading total to a single-game career-high eight. After scoring four goals combined in his first two seasons, Balsiger has netted 15 goals over the last two seasons.
 
Along with his team-leading eight goals, Balsiger also leads the team in both assists (5) and points (21).
