Paulson — coming off a year in which she was named Co-MIAC Rookie of the Year, as well as honorable-mention All-MIAC — picked up where she left off, leading the Cardinal women’s basketball team in scoring in its season opener against NCAA Division II Winona State last Saturday.
 
The sophomore guard poured in a team-high 15 points, knocking down five field goals — including a pair of 3-pointers — and going 3-for-4 from the free throw line.
