Cave has been the Cardinals’ offensive leader all season — and last Wednesday was no different, as the junior poured in a team-high 19 points in Saint Mary’s 75-59 MIAC win over Macalester.
 
Cave hit on 6 of 9 field goal attempts — including one 3-pointer — and finished 6-for-10 from the free throw line en route to his 19 points against the Scots. Cave also delivered seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in 36 minutes.
 
Cave heads into Thursday’s nonconference home showdown with Martin Luther averaging 21.5 ppg — a team-high and ranking third in the MIAC — while also owning 33 rebounds (5.5 rpg), 16 assists, 14 steals and nine blocked shots.
