Vesel put together another team-leading offensive performance in the Cardinal women’s basketball team’s lone game last week, as the sophomore tossed in 12 points in Saint Mary’s nonconference loss to seventh-ranked Wartburg.
 
Vesel went 5-for-12 from the field with one 3-pointer, while adding a 1-for-2 effort from the free throw line en route to her 12 points — the second straight 12-point game for the Cardinal sophomore.
 
With her 12-point showing, Vesel — who is averaging a team-leading 15.6 ppg, while also leading the Cardinals in both steals (11) and blocks (4) — Vesel has now scored in double figures in all seven games this season.
