For the second meet in a row, Boone dominated the sprints at last Saturday’s Masked Mayhem Opener at the Saint Mary’s Track & Field Complex.
Fresh off wins in the 100 prelims and finals, and the 200, at the COVID Classic in the Cardinals’ final indoor meet of the year, Boone posted a repeat performance last Saturday.
Boone stopped the clock in 11.32 to win the prelims of the 100, then did that one better with a time of 11.16 in winning the finals. And the senior wasn’t finished, blowing away the field in the 200 with a winning time of 22.63.
Boone and the Cardinals are back in action on Friday, heading to Collegeville, Minn., to take part in the Saint John's Invitational.
