Eli Szymanski recorded a pair of goals — both via penalty kick — in leading the Cardinal men’s soccer team to its first win of the season, a 3-1 victory over Edgewood last weekend.
 
With the score tied 1-1, Szymanski netted what proved to be the game-winner with less than eight minutes remaining in the first half against the Eagles. The Cardinal senior then iced the game with his second PK goal of the game — and sixth of his career — in the 63rd minute.
