Quinn Steinbrecher (Holmen, Wis.) saved his best cross country race for his last, as the Cardinal sophomore — making his first NCAA North Regional appearance — shaved 20 seconds off his career-best performance to lead the way for the Cardinal men at last Saturday’s regional in Colfax, Wis.
 
Steinbrecher closed out his 2021 campaign touring the eight-kilometer course in 27:45 – shattering his previous personal best of 28:05 set at the UW-La Crosse Jim Drews Invitational on Oct 15.
