Kingston had a hand in three of the Cardinals’ four goals, scoring twice — including the overtime game-winner on Saturday — and assisting on another as Saint Mary’s closed out the 2021 portion of its second with back-to-back 2-1 victories over St. Olaf over the weekend.
Kingston kicked off the weekend scoring Saint Mary’s first goal — her first in a Cardinal uniform — and assisting on the late, third-period game-winner in SMU’s 2-1 road win over the Oles. The following afternoon, Kingston was at it again, scoring 13 seconds into overtime in giving the Cardinals their second straight 2-1 victory, and a sweep of their conference series with the Oles.
For the season, Kingston is third on the team in goals with two and points with three through nine games.
