It was a career week for Saint Mary’s Noah Frechette, as the Cardinal sophomore put together his best two games as a member of the Cardinal men’s basketball team at the D3hoops.com Classic.
Frechette averaged 17.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and added one assist, one block and two steals, as Saint Mary’s went 1-1 — beating UW-Superior 83-78 and falling to No. 19 Mary Hardin-Baylor 84-64.
Frechette kicked off the week scoring a then-career-high 16 points and adding a pair of steals in SMU’s tournament-opening win over UW-Superior, before following that up with a new single-game career-high, scoring a team-leading 18 points and hauling in five rebounds against the 19th-ranked Cru.
For the season, Frechette is averaging 8.9 ppgs with 34 rebounds (5.7 rpg), 10 assists, three blocks and six steals.
