In the only game of the week for the Cardinal men’s basketball team, Freetly scored a team-leading 17 points in SMU’s 73-67 road loss to Concordia last Saturday.
The senior went 7-for-14 from the field — including a 3-for-6 effort from behind the 3-point line — and en route to his season-high 17-point showing, while hauling in a team-leading seven rebounds against the Cobbers. Freetly also recorded three steals, three blocks and an assist.
For the season, Freetly is averaging 7.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game, while leading the team with 19 blocked shots, and chipping in 19 assists and 14 steals.
