Caroline Gearin kicked off the Cardinals’ indoor track and field season in grand fashion last Saturday, picking up a first- and second-place finish at the UW-Superior Twin Ports Open.

Gearin, the reigning MIAC outdoor pole vault champion, cleared 3.19 meters to win the pole vault title, while clocking a 1:47.35 second-place time in the 600.
