Hall made quite a statement for the Saint Mary’s University fastpitch softball team during the Cardinals’ spring trip to Clermont, Fla., last week — hitting a team-best .563 — going 18-for-32 with two doubles, two triples, 11 runs scored and 15 RBIs in SMU’s 11 games.
Hall was virtually impossible to keep off the base paths, collecting at least one hit in 10 of SMU’s 11 games — including hitting safely in each of Saint Mary’s final eight spring-trip games. She recorded at least two hits six times, including a career-high three hits twice — against Milwaukee School of Engineering on March 1 and vs. Eastern on March 4. Hall closed out the trip boasting a .632 on-base percentage and a .750 slugging percentage, while also stealing seven bases on nine tries.
